Dr. Neil F. Gordon, Founder & Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Neil F. Gordon is an acknowledged leader in disease prevention, devoting a career spanning more than 30 years to the prevention of cardiovascular disease and other chronic illnesses. Dr. Gordon has written more than 100 published scientific manuscripts and eight books on the subject, and has received many awards, honours and research grants for his work in the field of chronic disease prevention.

Dr. Gordon is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of INTERxVENT USA. Dr. Gordon is also a former clinical professor of medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Vice-President of the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, member of the Board of Trustees of the American College of Sports Medicine, and chairman of the American Heart Association’s Committee on Exercise, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention.

Dr. Gordon obtained his MD and a PhD in exercise physiology in Johannesburg, South Africa. He relocated to the United States in 1987, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from UCLA. Dr. Gordon is a board-certified physician and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
